"We don't even have to curse!"
The Psalmist and Praise, two young rising stars with one thing in mind: spreading the Gospel of Jesus through music. These two young stars use the very controversial "Christian Rap" to spread the word of God to youth all over the nation. "We don't even have to curse," is a line used in one of The Psalmist's songs to identify that they can rap and bring the message across without the use of obscene language. The two are members of the World Changers and have rapped at all STFV concerts and the rest to come. With their inspiration many have turned to using their gifts as a tool to bring glory and honor to Jesus.
The Psalmist
Jonathan Lopez was born in New Jersey. When moving with his family to Florida 7 years ago he went through several trials. At the time where he felt everything was going wrong, God changed his life. He rededicated his life to make Jesus his Lord and to use all his talents to worship and give glory to God. Now he is a rising star and has performed at many churches and events to spread the word of God. He has been an inspiration to many youth, encouraging them to not give up on rap, but to use it for the kingdom of God.
Praise
Praise gives a new meaning to female rappers everywhere. Her lyrics are filled with hope and encouragment. As she raps, she gives the world a great example of what young Christian women should represent; Jesus. She has inspired many youth to reach their goals no matter how bad the obstacle looks.
